At THORWESTEN Maschinenbau, you will play a crucial role as a machining operator in our precision-oriented manufacturing. With your skills on modern CNC lathes and milling machines, you will ensure that high-quality components are produced precisely according to drawings – with a precise fit, on time, and with the highest quality.

You'll set up machines, monitor the production process, and make adjustments independently as needed. Your experience and technical understanding will make you an important part of our team, which faces new challenges every day. Whether it's single-part production or series production, your work lays the foundation for our high-performance machines and systems.

Your tasks
  • Independent creation of turning and milling programs with Autodesk Fusion 360 (CAM)

  • Selection of production aids (clamping devices/tools) taking into account economic efficiency

  • Implementation of new programs

  • Optimization of programs and technological processes, including technical documentation

  • Optimization and testing of manufacturing technology, tools and fixtures

  • Independent quality control

  • Problem solving in cooperation with the technical departments
